WONDER Barre Armonk Reboots on FORTË Digital Platform
WONDER Barre Armonk Reboots on FORTË Digital Platform: Bedford’s Robin Flamenbaum, who famously launched her new boutique barre, yoga studio on August 24, the day New York reopened health clubs and gyms, has rebooted with the pro-style FORTË interactive digital platform.
“Zoom fitness is here to stay,” Robin told us. “Even after the pandemic is over we think in-home classes are going to be half of our business. But we didn’t want to just slap out a link and tell people to dial in. We wanted to give them the full Peloton treatment. A fully immersive interface where people get the same experience and the same attention from our instructors at home as they would in the studio.”
So she called up FORTË whose end-to-end white-label digital streaming platform has been written up in Forbes and Fortune. And has been installed in cutting edge fitness centers coast to coast. Including Mystryde in Boston, Club Sweat in CT, Powerumba in Miami and fifteen barre/yoga, boxing, cardio/dance, pilates and strength and core training studios in Manhattan. “We were so lucky they agreed to work with a boutique like ours. I pulled out the “woman business” card and asked them to break their business model for us. We scored!”
Two-Way Video & Group Chat, On-Demand Class Library
FORTË enables studios to seamlessly livestream their classes on their own custom branded digital platform integrating seamless scheduling and payment. “The key for us is FORTË’s two-way video and group chat so instructors can monitor and communicate fully with members taking classes at home,” Robin told us. “And the cameras and speakers they installed delivers in-studio visual angles and high quality sound in your home.”
FORTË’s platform also enables The WONDER Barre to record all their classes so members can access a full library of content at their convenience. “This was also important to us,” Robin explained, “because each of our seven instructors has their own style and methods and emphasis on different muscle groups. Instructor-shopping is a lot easier when you can take classes on-demand. And we think most people will wind up live-streaming with more than one instructor.”
First Week Free! Livestream & On-Demand Classes
WONDER barre launched their new FORTË platform on December 11. They are currently offering a free week of Livestream and On-Demand classes and three days free on-site classes in their airy 1200 square foot studio. Robin’s team is composed of certified Barre and Yoga instructors and many come from a dance background. They love to help others become stronger inside and out and are passionate about their customers having fun while achieving results. Here are WONDER barre’s class offerings.
WONDER barre Sculpt: WONDER barre’s Sculpt classes use a combination of Yoga and Barre movements, creating a unique experience that is an intense full body workout with an intense focus on core sculpting.
WONDER barre Flow: Rooted in the Lotte Berk method, Flow classes engage in concise isometric movements that focus on specific muscle groups. Flow exercises are designed to build a stronger core, slimmer thighs, and toned arms. WONDER barre Flow is a basic class that is good for newcomers and experienced Barre lovers.
WONDER barre Burn: These more aerobic classes provide a challenge to increase your heart rate while doing low-impact toning exercises. Break a sweat, pulse more, and burn more. Burn calories while creating lean muscle.
WONDER Vinyasa Flow: You’ll flow continuously through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath with movement to build strength and endurance as you push the edge of your balance and flexibility.
